Ginna Hoben is an actor/writer based in New York. The Twelve Dates of Christmas is among her four produced plays, including the solo show pierced! (New York International Fringe Festival [2002] and The Edinburgh Festival Fringe [2004]), the full-length play the wind-chill factor, and the ten-minute play telephone, published in the collection 30 Ten-Minute Plays for 4, 5, and 6 Actors.

Favorite acting credits include: Next Fall; The 39 Steps; Proof; Almost, Maine; and the world premiere of Richard Dresser's What are You Afraid Of? (Humana Festival, Actors Theatre of Louisville). Recently, among the nineteen plays she performed at The American Shakespeare Center, favorite roles include Kate in The Taming of the Shrew, Guildenstern in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, and Mary in the World Premiere of The Twelve Dates of Christmas.
