Alexander Thomas was born and raised in Albany, New York. He studied acting at New York City studios such as the Stella Adler Studio and others. He originated his solo play Throw Pitchfork at Highways Performance Space in Santa Monica, California, and premiered it Off-Broadway at the New York Theatre Workshop in 2002. Later that same year the play premiered regionally in upstate New York at The Kitchen Theater in Ithaca. Throw Pitchfork was also produced at JAW West Festival at Portland Center Stage in Portland, Oregon, and October Fest at The Ensemble Studio Theater in New York City. It was the closing act at The 4th Annual Thespis Monodrama Festivel in Kiel, Germany where it won a special honors award. Mr. Thomas currently resides in Berlin, Germany.
