Tim Adler is an author and freelance journalist, who has written for Financial Times, The Times and the Daily Telegraph, among others. Sunday Times Culture described Tim’s latest book The House of Redgrave, a family portrait of the Redgrave acting dynasty, “compulsively readable … well written, extensively researched” while The Mail On Sunday called it “dazzling”. The Daily Telegraph gave it 5*s. Tim’s first book, The Producers: Money, Movies and Who Really Calls the Shots, was published in 2004. Bloomsbury published its follow-up Hollywood and the Mob, an exposé of how the Mafia has corrupted the movie industry. The Mail On Sunday made it Book of the Week while the Daily Mail picked it Critic’s Choice. Tim is former London Editor of Deadline Hollywood, the entertainment business news website. Before that, he edited film trade magazine Screen Finance — described by the London Evening Standard as “highly influential” – as well as TV business magazine New Media Markets. And he regularly features as a pundit on BBC Radio 4’s Today, BBC Breakfast and Sky News.
