Charles Grippo is an author, commercially produced playwright, composer/lyricist, entertainment attorney, producer, and theatrical "angel." His plays include "Sex Marks The Spot (American version)"; "Sex Marks The Spot (British version)"; "When Angels Wept"; "Thursday In the Park"; "Outrageous Mis-fortune"; "Wait for the Wind"; and "The Tooth of the Matter". They have been produced off Broadway, as well as in Cortland, New York; Indiana; Chicago, and in Ojai, California. His short stories have been published in national magazines. He is the author of "The Stage Producer's Business and Legal Guide" and "Business and Legal Forms for Theatre", the latter of which is now in a Second Edition. Both are published by Allworth Press. His works are available at fine bookstores nationwide, as well as at leading online booksellers. He is President of New Lincoln Theatre Productions, a commercial production company. He is also President of Grippo Stage Company, Inc., a 501 (c) (3) public charity. He practices theater, music, and motion picture law. A nationally recognized authority on entertainment law, he is a much sought after speaker. He divides his time among the cities of Chicago and New York. He is a member of the Authors Guild, the Dramatists Guild, Attorney's Title Guaranty Fund, and the Chicago Writer's Bloc.
