Nanci Christopher has been an actress for over twenty-five years. Acting credits include: Lee Blessing’s Down the Road (LA Premiere) and Diane Samuels’ Kindertransport (Tiffany Theatre); Home Fire and Letters Home (Theatre West); and The Transmogrification and Open Your Golden Gate (Playwright’s Horizons, NYC). Film and television credits include: HBO’s Crime of the Century (dir. Mark Rydell) and The Check Is in the Mail (dir. Joan Darling); Two and a Half Men, ER, USA High, Ryan's Hope, and All My Children; among others plus numerous commercials. Ms. Christopher became a first time writer with her autobiographical solo show, And Baby Makes Two – an adoption tale, which ran for almost three months at the Santa Monica Playhouse in the fall of 2007. And Baby Makes Two was nominated for the prestigious 2009 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize, was published by powerhouse Samuel French, Inc. in November 2009, and has been translated into French to be performed by Beatrice Agenin after a reading at Theatre d’Aire Falguiere (Paris, July 2008). Ms. Christopher dedicated And Baby Makes Two to her beautiful son, Joshua Brandon Neidorf, and his selfless birth mother, Elizabeth Sample Zufelt; and through benefit performances of the play, Ms. Christoper has raised over $15,000.00 for adoption charities and The American Liver Foundation (www.andbabymakestwo-anadoptiontale.com) Ms. Christopher is currently an associate member of Pacific Resident Theatre (PRT) in Venice, California; was a long time member of Theatre West in Los Angeles; and was a Co-Founder of The Joint Theatre Company/CBS Radford. She was an invited guest at The Actor's Theatre of Louisville Humana Festival and The O'Neill National Playwright's Conference. She is a member of The Dramatists Guild. Ms. Christopher's current project has spawned the Sugar & Stilettos movement (www.sugarandstilettos.com), including a baking club, a book and an annual bake sale to benefit a local charity. Ms. Christopher is a confirmed Francophile having lived in Paris, France for almost a year. She absolutely never turns down a French pastry of any kind…OH LA LA! She also was a competitive figure skater as a child and young adult, training with the great Frank Carroll, and earning her Adult United States Figure Skating Gold Medal among many competition medals and trophies Ms. Christopher holds a BA in Social Sciences/Early Childhood Development from UC Berkeley. She is actively involved in NARSAD and Step Up on Second, organizations that do research for and help the mentally ill, as well as Operation Mend  at UCLA, helping soldiers going through dramatic reconstructive surgery after serving and being injured in Iraq and Afghanistan. Ms. Christopher’s proudest moments are that of being Joshua’s mom…Joshua is her wonder boy, the magic in her life…
