Ann Karine is a NYC playwright. Her play Hermaphroditie was chosen to be in the Best American Short Plays Of 2002-2003. Deadline, a new play, is a hilarious farce and send up of Wall Street. Incommunicado, Inc. or Edge Stew was performed at the Cardboard Box Collaborative in Philadelphia. It’s Only a Test and A Well Taught Lesson both written for Brown Ledge in Vermont are produced throughout the U.S. and the U.K. G-Force seen at the Edinburgh Festival and NYC, too, is produced throughout the U.S. and the U.K. Other highlights include, Something Rotten in Denmark (winner, 18th Annual Samuel French Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival), Open and Shut and What You Want were performed at the Samuel Beckett Theatre in NYC. Ms. Karine wrote and performed in Where’s the Party produced by ABC-TV. Experiment at the Asylum was part of the Grand Guignol and had an extended run off-Broadway. Many of her plays are published by Samuel French. Ms. Karine is a volunteer running coach for Fred’s Team, a team of marathon runners who raise funds for cancer research for Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in NYC.
