Eric Giancoli

Eric Giancoli grew up in Horseheads, New York. He began acting professionally at 15 in the Mark Twain MusicalDrama and appeared there for two seasons. Under the tutelage of Clare Reidy in the Drama Department at NotreDame high school he won the N.Y. State Drama Competition for Best Dramatic Actor.Eric attended The University of the Arts in Philadelphia and won the Freshman Achievement Scholarship. He graduated with high honors and a twice- certified stage combatant. While in Philadelphia he worked withthe Walnut St./Wilma Theaters joint production of Cyrano, Philadelphia Area Repertory Theater in Twelfth Night and Art of Success as well as several plays for The Novel Stages Theater Company. Eric also attended The Second City School of Improvisation in Chicago.In New York Eric performed at The Metropolitan Opera House’s premiere of Vivaldi’s Il Lombardi with Luciano Pavarotti, The Adhesive Theater Project in Battles of Coxinga, Co wrote and perfromed in Kirby and is also a company member. He was a resident artist for Corning Community College Drama department where he performed Hamlet, Romeo & Juliet and As You Like It. Eric won the 27th annual off-off broadway play competition with his one act play The Devil’s Parole and is published by Samuel French. He wrote and directed IRS Training Video which won the Two Boots Short Film Festival.Eric currently lives in Los Angeles and is a member of The Sacred Fools Theater Company. He has performed at The Uprights Citizens Brigade, Hollywood Hell House with Bill Maher, Patton Oswalt, and David Cross,and The Arena Players production of Glen Gary Glen Ross. Eric co-wrote and starred in The Anniversary directed by Bill Giancoli. He wrote produced and directed the featurefilm,Big True.
