Steven Keyes

A native of Chicago by way of Dallas and New York, Steven Keyes is a resident of Los Angeles. His first play "Moonlight Cocktail" was produced at the Met Theatre following readings in NY and LA. An actor as well as writer, he performed his one-person play "West of Eden" during  the United Solo Festival in NYC (2012). His regional acting credits include seasons at South Coast Repertory, Shakespeare Theatre of NJ, Padua Hills Playwrights Festival, BACA Downtown, BMI Musicals, New Dramatists and the 2010 U.S Tour of "Love's Labour's Lost"with the London company of Shakespeare's Globe. An active member of Actor's Equity and SAG/AFTRA, Steven's other plays include "Country Matters" and "Sic Transit, Gloria Mundi, Dude" which was a finalist in producer Ken Davenport's 2014 10-Minute Play Festival. An actor/playwright mentor with the Virginia Avenue Project in Santa Monica, Steven studied with Wynn Handman at The American Place Theatre and Columbia University.
