Jane Milmore began her career as an actress. After starring in several national TV commercials, she appeared in the TV shows Anything But Love and Sydney, as well as guest-starring on Bless This House, Newhart, Martin, The Hughley’s, and The Wayans Bros. Jane also appeared in the television movies If Things Were Different, Desperate Lives, A Cry for Love, and the film A Wake in Providence. 

Jane began her writing collaboration with Billy with the 1979 play Love, Sex, and the I.R.S. Jane has created and developed television series for Brooke Shields, Martin Lawrence, Don Rickles, Richard Lewis, Jamie Lee Curtis, DL Hughley, Jean Smart, John Goodman, Olympia Dukakis, Richard Mulligan, Penny Marshall, David Krumholtz, Valerie Bertinelli, Andrew Dice Clay, Cathy Moriarty, and The Wayans Bros. Jane, the oldest of five girls, was born in Laramie, Wyoming and raised in New York and New Jersey. She is a graduate of Keansburg High School. Her sister Maureen is Vice President of Production for the CW Plus. Her sister Kathy is the romance novelist Kaitlyn O’Riley. Her sister Janet works for the School of Rock. Her sister Jennifer is an actress. Jane makes her home in Beverly Hills and Rumson.
