Harold H. Lytle (1896-1978) was born in Lawrence, Kansas. He attended Lawrence public schools and was graduated from Kansas University in 1918. While at KU, Mr. Lytle was captain of Company A, played varsity basketball, was vice president of the senior class, president of the Dramatic Club, played in the KU band and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Lytle was an elder and taught church school classes in several Presbyterian Churches. His play Were You There? dramatizes the crucifixion for young people and family audiences.
