Samuel French, Inc and the American Association of Community Theatre are pleased to announce that new discounts are now available to AACT Member Theatres! Plays by one of the most influential writers of the 20th Century, Agatha Christie, are now available at a reduced licensing fee to AACT Members. In honor of the 60th Anniversary of THE MOUSETRAP, this discount will begin in September of 2012 and run through the end of 2013. See the details below for more information. Agatha Christie Licensing Fee Discount: 10% off fees for Agatha Christie titles in the promotion, listed above (see item #4 in "The Rules" section below)
Agatha Christie Script Discount: 10% on all cast orders of select Agatha Christie titles, listed above.
The Rules
- In the "Comments" section of the Merchandise Order Form or Licensing Application, you must indicate that you are a member of AACT at the time of application for rights in order to be eligible for the discount. As of January 1, 2013 Samuel French will be unable to offer retroactive discounts for any theatres who have already sent in payment for a title that is part of this promotion, so please remember to notify them of your AACT status when you apply for rights to be eligible for the discounts!
- Theatres must be members in good standing of AACT.
- To be eligible for the Agatha Christie licensing fee discount, the AACT member theatre must present six or more performances of the Agatha Christie title.
- All shows must be performed between September 1, 2012 and December 31, 2013. In order to receive the script discount, the performance dates must fall in this time frame as well, though the order may be placed before September 1 2012.

A Skype session with Ken Ludwig for groups that schedule two or more of his shows (handled by Samuel French, Inc.) in their 2012-13 season (performance dates falling between September 1, 2012 and August 31, 2013)
Autographed cast order copies of The Fox on the Fairway to the first ten groups that license this play during the promotion
