The Adjustment

Belinda Groat, an attractive widow who has had a flood in her basement, is determined to receive adequate compensation. When the adjuster arrives, she's busily adding to the damage and touching up the debris. But this particular insurance man, Mr. Fester, is hard to convince. And he has a way of asking unanswerable questions. Mr. Fester makes Belinda uneasy, then terrified, because she realizes she's going to get more compensation than she bargained for. Performed by amateur and professional groups in the U.S., Britain, Canada, Germany and at the Spoleto Festival.
