A SAMUEL FRENCH, INC. TITLE

Entropy Increasing in a Closed System

Short Play  /  1w, 1m

by Justin Krasner-Karpen

Winner! 2012 Baker's Plays High School Playwriting Competition, Second Place

Two friends, stripped of their ability to relax their muscles, face one another, or use punctuation, struggle to reconstruct why they are trapped in this situation. In the process, they reenact several possible versions of their relationship's most traumatic (yet only half-remembered) moment. As the title guarantees, several irrecuperable minutes slip away from the actors, crew, and audience.
