The internationally popular game is now a fun filled musical which brings the world's best know suspects to life and invites the audience to help solve the mystery: who killed Mr. Boddy, in what room and with what weapon. The audience receives forms to help them deduce the solution from clues given throughout the fun filled evening. Three audience members choose from cards representing the potential murderers, weapons and rooms; there are 216 possible solutions! Only one hard nosed female detective is qualified to unravel the merry mayhem.

Comic antics, witty lyrics and a beguiling score carry the investigation from room to room. Even after the culprit confesses, a surprise twist delights the audience. This colorful crowd pleaser was devised by the authors of Murder at Rutherford House and other popular interactive entertainments.

I am a professional theatre director in the Midwest.  Recently, I got a copy of the script for Clue The Musical, read it, and thought it was one of the most clever pieces of interactive, musical theatre I had read.  It's truly like no other: characters sing, dance, joke and provide clues for the audience to solve the mystery of whodunit, in what room, with what weapon -- just like the game.  Then, my music director played through the score.  What a gem: eclectic, varied and melodic.  Clue is a winner!

The kids are really excited about the show because it is not the same every night. It gives them a chance to change things up every night.  It also really gets the audience involved which gives them a different element of interaction with the show.  It also gives the actors a chance to think on their feet right before the show starts because we always have a different murderer, weapon and room. It is also a fun way to keep the show fresh for the performers.

Ya gotta love a show that brings the iconic Clue characters to life in song and dance and with some of the funniest dialogue I've heard in the theater.  I sure did!
