I played Ben more than 30 years ago. I loved the part and loved the script. And I believe it was my best "Thirty Something" performance. Our theater is going to do it this coming season and I'd love to play Willie or Ben. Unlike many Simon comedies this play ages extraordinarily well. It's a great vehicle for the young to be introduced to vaudeville and for the not-so-young to remember those wonderful days. Thank you Mr Simon for writing such a timeless classic.
