Summary

Since its first performance in 1990 at the American Repertory Theatre in Cambridge, thousands have been enthralled by this fantasy that introduces children to the magic of live theatre with a yarn about a fantastic journey and mythical creatures. The Island of Anyplace was produced at least annually at the A.R.T. from 1990 until 2009.

Other than the two principal actors (young female, young male), casting is flexible and expandable.  An elementary school in Brookline, MA used multiple actors in each of the roles.
