I haven't been this excited to direct a play in ten years. Horse Girls is not only brutally funny but, an excellent vehicle in discussing the bullying epidemic faced by students in today's culture. Yes, there is some language and yes, there is violence but, I feel, it wouldn't get the message across as poignantly without every bit of it.

Horse Girls is very funny, very dark, and very shocking. As an adult, I really like the play, and it would be thrilling to see it. As a teacher, I might use parts of it for scene work, but it's not the kind of show that high schools could produce due to the violence, subject matter and language.
