Seabird is in a Happy Place is the fast-paced, energetic testimony of Seabird, a young woman who purports to have died and come back to life under the condition that she die once again as soon as the rain stops. Seabird explains how her resurrection coincided with an accidental encounter - a sudden romance that complicated her inevitable return to the state of being dead - and how, as the rain continued, she found herself with more to lose than she would have thought possible.

Published in the Off Off Broadway Festival Plays, 40th Series

Seabird is in a Happy Place was first produced as part of Babelle Theatre’s RIVULETS: THREE SHORT PLAYS ABOUT A FLOOD at the Lone Pine Studio in Vancouver in July of 2015. It was directed and dramaturged by Marie Farsi.
