In this mysterious and eerie long one act, Sarah, a woman searching for her missing daughter Corry, comes upon an older woman, Cate, who appears to be confused at first, but claims to have seen the girl carried off in a black car as she walked by the road between the woods and the lake. As Sarah continues to try and find the truth, we see Corry, in a dark old house, where a man, Hade, may or may not be keeping her against her will. But Cate seems to remember things that happened to Sarah, and perhaps things that happened to Corry. Could they somehow be the same person? Or could they all have been in some way involved with Hade? Cate says the person who took her was the Devil. A strange and haunting revisitation of the myth of Persephone and Ceres.
