Summary
Two one-act plays provide a double feature more hilarious than any presented in Hollywood's heyday: the first, a salute to the Golden Age of film musicals; the second, a rambunctious Marx Bros. farce. Winner of two Tony Awards in the hit Broadway production directed and choreographed by Tommy Tune.

*NOTE: A Night in the Ukraine may be produced as a one-act musical. Additional music is available to make it a full evening's entertainment. The libretto remains the same as Act II of Hollywood/Ukraine. A Day in Hollywood may not be produced by itself.

History
A Day In Hollywood, A Night in the Ukraine premiered on the West End at the Mayfair Theatre on March 28, 1979. The show opened on Broadway at the John Golden Theatre on May 1, 1980, transferred to the Royale Theatre on June 17, 1980.
