Summary
Tom Marlowe, campus football hero, dreams of scoring the winning touchdown at Tait University's big game. But the honor nearly escapes him when he flunks his astronomy exam. The stern astronomy professor demands that Tom pass, and things look bleak for the campus hero. Tom's sweetheart Patricia convinces her cousin Connie to tutor him. Tom dives into his studies, but winds up falling in love with Connie. Love and romance get in the way of Tom's studies, but the professor, in a rare display of compassion, passes Tom on the eve of the big game. And the game itself – what a contest! Tom is sorely needed, and Tait seems destined to lose. Fortunately, Tom makes the winning touchdown and the entire campus celebrates.
