Details

Summary
Liza Minnelli and Cyril Ritchard starred in this holiday special, which premiered on ABC-TV in 1966. It is Christmas eve and the animals in the zoo are having a party. Locked behind bars, Lone T. Wolf hasn't been invited. He blames his problems on Red Riding Hood and proceeds to tell his side of the story. The score bubbles with cheerful holiday songs and catchy ballads that are well-suited to children's voices. It also features a slinky tango called "Granny's Song" and Riding Hood's tuneful lament, "I'm Naive."
