Summary
Kaden Rockwell is in the hospital after an alcohol-related car accident. In the waiting room, Kaden's mother agonizes over his history of substance abuse, but refuses to see the heart of the problem. His fiancé, Tegan, can't figure out where everything went wrong. And Ethan, Kaden's best friend, admits that has never known how to help. In fractured conversations and direct, confessional monologues, these three characters tell the story of Kaden's past while they wait for news of his future.
