Summary
The story of Freshman James Getty. In an effort to be noticed, James develops an underground yearbook . He takes the pictures and writes the captions not usually found in high school annuals. James' candid shots come alive on stage and reveal a more truthful depiction of what high school is all about. Other characters include Tracey, the most popular as well as most insecure girl in school; the cool track star Griffin; the obnoxious but loveable Dwight Davis, the close-to-a-nervous-breakdown Allison, and Ox-Eye Daisy, the misfit.

Candid Shots was originally produced April 13, 2001 at the Hickory Community Theater in Hickory, North Carolina and was directed by Molly Bass.
