We have thoroughly enjoyed rehearsing this play and the cast have been enthusiastic about looking in depth at the characters.  The more we have rehearsed it the more they have appreciated it.  It definitely flows best using American accents.  Our opening night is yet to come but I am confident it will be much enjoyed.
