Hired as a maid at the Tillinghast home, little Nell Noble, an orphan, almost faints with pleasure when she meets Trelawney. It's a case of love at first sight for them both. Daryl tries to force his attentions on Nell, but she will have none of him and tells him so, in no uncertain terms. Like all villains, Daryl is exposed for the criminal he is, and is carted away, and Trelawney and Nell are united for a very satisfying conclusion to an evening of non-stop delight.
