REVIEWS

"A literate exploration of family responsibilities in a mobile society." - Variety

"The play simmers so gently for so long, as each potential confrontation is deflected with Chekhovian shrugs and silences, that when it boils into hostility it sears the audience." - Time

Husbandry premiered at the Actors Theatre of Louisville in February 1984 under the direction of Jon Jory.
