And Then There Were None
A classic Christie thriller. We always have large audiences for anything Christie. Fairly easy unit set - there's a set of french doors in just about every Christie play I've read plus always at least 2 other doors.
Difficult part was finding toy soldiers large enough to see from the audience - was not successful with that prop.

And Then There Were None
This is the second production of this play I've directed at our high school.
It's a convenient, simple set, easily adapted for "in the round" performance. I put one hundred seats on our stage, four aisles to wings.
The students are inspired by the proximity to audience members.
Do it with or without the British accents, or mix it up.

A great work by Agatha Christie. Her character development and twists make this a real classic. Fun to watch and present.

Great character and well-developed plot.  The quintessential murder-mystery.

A classic play
We're a start-up community theatre, partnering with our City. And Then There Were None is a perfect script for us. It's a small cast, single set, and will work for an amphitheater.

Still a Classic!
Although the play seems a little dated, it is still a great classic!  Audiences still love the surprise twist at the end.  Very enjoyable!

And Then There Were None
I really enjoy the story and the script is written pretty well.  The students are having a blast working on the show.

Christie’s “And Then There Were None” brings an element of judge, jury and executioner to the standard murder mystery trope.  Each person brought to the island with a secret: that they are responsible for the death of another. If the courts clear a person are they truly absolved or is a vigilante free to make amends for the wrongs they have committed? Is the vigilante any better than the murderer? Christie weaves a gripping play about a locked-room murder, one where we aren’t able to guess the killer like in a standard mystery novel. Christie introduces a strong female character, though plagued by her involvement in the death of her charge and the subsequent loss of her lover, who is able to be the last survivor.
