Overview

Based on a true story that fascinated Yeats, this long, powerful one-act, which could be a full evening of theatre without intermission, tells the hypnotic and chilling story of how a chance discovery in an old trunk leads step by step to torture and executions for witchcraft as the young Bishop and the lost girl Sarah Jane, caught up in the nightmare, work out their own strange love and dark salvation.
