Overview

Molly brings groceries to help her alcoholic childhood friend Nell Casey, and when she forces her niece Becky and her boyfriend John Palestrina to come along, Becky discovers that Nell may hold the secret to a question Becky has been trying to answer her whole life: the identity of her father. Becky's search takes her to Nell's brother Jimmy, who has spent his life resurrecting old pianos, and then back to Nell years later. A moving play about identity. Another in Nigro's long series of Pendragon County plays. In The Red King's Dream & Other Plays.
