Overview
Max, an older man, and Anna, a young girl, find themselves in a cavernous old European train station, waiting for a train, and strike up a conversation when Max notices that Anna has been reading a book by the great writer W. G. Sebald. As their conversation progresses, it becomes more and more clear that they are not certain how they got here, or where they are going, and that perhaps they have in fact come from the same place. They can almost remember, and clearly it has something to do with the works of the mysterious, strange and compelling writer whose book she holds in her hands.
