Overview

In this longer one act, Blossom Appledorn is struck by lightning as a child, and from then on can hear voices speaking to her, one of which is a Crow who urges her to get up in the middle of the night to see the future in a rain barrel. There she learns that her son, who was killed in the Civil War, was actually murdered by his friend T. H. Grim so Grim could have her son's wife. Thus begins a decades long struggle between the eccentric woman, whom everybody thinks is cracked in the head, and the sociopath Grim, who is aware that she is somehow on to him. How Blossom gets her revenge, and what it costs her, is the subject of this funny, moving, and harrowingly dark tale.
