Overview

Joanna and Middleton, waiting for Beatrice in her apartment, find a little black notebook in which Beatrice has written over and over again the word "Napoleons." Sexual tension mounts as they wait and try to figure out what significance the word has. Joanna wants to make love right now, but Middleton is becoming more and more suspicious that both women are insane. One of nine inter-related plays in Pictures At An Exhibition.
