Overview

Middleton and Beatrice have come to visit Joanna at the asylum, where Joanna tries to explain to them how the audience of dolls in the attic reminded her of the hall of mirrors where Johnny DeFlores burned to death. Eventually, Beatrice decides to stay at the asylum, but Joanna chooses to leave with Middleton, who is now afraid to be left alone with her. One of nine short interrelated plays each of which may be done separately or in conjunction with any or all of the others in Pictures At An Exhibition.
