Things are hectic at the young dentist's office. He is on his way to get married, but his bride is trapped in an elevator because of a strike and his secretary is not sympathetic. Demonstrations, Con Edison people digging up the sidewalk, a masked bandit and a broken gas main ensue. Is it any wonder that he almost elopes with the wrong woman?
