Little Theatre Comedy Jules Tasca 3 m., 4 f. Int. Small town leader Wayne Stone is the head of the local film review board. He and his prudish colleagues strive to keep smutty movies out of their small community. Hilarity ensues when Stone's underground film making son returns to take over the local movie house to exhibit his x rated movies, his latest, The Shoe Fetish. This only starts the comedy Wayne and his wife, Alma, next find out that only son, Clayton, plans to marry the porno queen star of the film right there in town in front of the movie house on opening night under the search lights. These and other events are jocularly resolved in an outrageous turnabout laugh packed ending that makes its point about the hypocrisy of conventional American mores. In Hollywood it broke Mark Taper Forum's box office record. "One of the most outrageously funny comedies of the past several years.... Hilarious satire on the hypocrisy of middle class America." Hollywood Reporter. "Dozens of frightfully funny lines.... It's a winner." Chicago Tribune. FEE: $75 per performance.
