Summary
In this tale of love and vengeance, Saul, the first king of the Israelites, suffers from depression which is alleviated by the songs of the young sheperd David. When David becomes a hero after slaying Goliath, Saul's jealousy threatens to destroy his son Jonathan, David and his kingdom.
