Additional Info
Stand up comic Eddie Jester has been mugged and is comatose. His disembodied spirit offers up jokes and commentary on the events transpiring in his hospital room, including the simultaneous visit to his bedside of his wife and his girlfriend and some nonmedical doctor/nurse activities. Eddie's semi-posthumous examination of life, love and human relationships provides funny and poignant insights while the duplicity of his agent, revelations about his father and the births of two children demonstrate to Eddie that sometimes even your own life carries on without you.
