Summary
Two giants of American history and folklore, Mark Twain and Ulysses Grant, sit on the front porch and try to make sense out of their lives as Twain urges Grant to write his Memoirs. Funny, moving, and totally absorbing, the unusual friendship between two very different American legends comes to life in this powerful longer one act play.
