Details

Summary
A table and a chair or two. Nick Lucifer is a gangster, middle aged, well preserved, but not quite, well dressed but not quite, kind of impressive but just on the edge of going to seed, and knows it. He speaks to us from a table at his somewhat less than respectable but rather alluring and very atmospheric establishment, Club Hell, about his relationship to his silent partner, the Old Man, the head of the operation, who Nick sees as a homicidal maniac. A funny and rather chilling monologue in which the cosmic struggle between God and Satan and the stories of Lilith and Eve, among others, are seen from a rather different point of view. Published in Grim Lake & Other Plays.
History
Nick Lucifer At Club Hell was first presented on April 6, 2011 at the Secret Rose Theatre in North Hollywood, California, with Dan Lauria.
