Summary
An entertainment gem suitable for all groups. Includes production notes, ideas and interpretive hints. It is thoroughly modern but with a traditional plot: orphaned, innocent damsel prefers honest young fellow but is pursued by wealthy physician. Everything's settled by a surprisingly liberated "Granny." It's a satirical delight with a preposterous story requiring outrageous overacting and performer villainy of course. The few props and easy costumes make it a very economical show to do that can be enjoyed on different levels.
