Summary
The scene of the play is the Animal Husbandry office at an agricultural college. The amiable, dedicated director is slowly being pushed out by the aggresive, razzle-dazzle Poultry Department. Now they want his office, his last haven. In the midst of the struggle some fraternity initiates release all the chickens and a prize bull. Boots and spurs and lariats and even faculty wives enter into the melee before the capitulation. Among the students is a girl who switches from home ec to animal husbandry to be near a boy who's doing his best to dodge her. A wonderfully funny college romp, with just the right dash of sentiment.

This play was selected as the most original new comedy submitted through the years to the School of Dramatic Arts of Columbia University, and was presented as the final production in the famous Brander Matthews Theatre, just before its demolition.
