Kings, queens, mermaids, dead sailors, lovers, princes, fools, and even madhouse inhabitants haunt and taunt the compromised hero. This play, commissioned for the 500th anniversary of Columbus's first voyage, is rich in language, action, character, and humor as it explores the consequences of exploration, discovery, madness, and creation.
