Summary
A very whacky play which holds up to view the modes of foolishness. Harry is a writer who isn't doing too well but then who could with all the distractions between sailors and their girls? The place is Munich, and here Harry shares a room with a peculiar character. During Harry's absence the roommate entertains an emissary from Harry's folks back home. It's a cockeyed scene, but he promises that Harry will be ready for the return trip at the appointed time. The last scene is a farewell to end them all. Harry and his roommate argue over inconsequential things and the arguing is so loud that the police are called, Harry is arrested, and that train is going without him after all.
