PENELOPE #1 - An educated rising playwright stuck in a drab day job. Dressed like Penelope #2, in office attire. Driven by curiosity. Has writer’s block.
ANNA #1 - Penelope #1’s longtime friend. Ditsy and somewhat  conceited.
PENELOPE #2 - Same as Penelope #1, but driven by her desire to have control. Her personality comes to life as Penelope #1 and Anna #1 write about her.
ANNA #2 - Same as Anna #1, but more exaggerated and over-dramatic, a real ham. Also brought into existence by Penelope #1 and Anna #1.
SOFIA - A character created by Penelope #1 and Penelope #2 – so she knows only what is written by them.
