Summary
Janie Conroy has saved every cent and has finally saved enough for a one way ticket to Nashville, where she intends to audition for a touring group of country and rock singers. But when she arrives, the auditions are over, and the only job she can get is at "Chip's Carhop Corral." Rick Rover, Jamboree's lead singer, meets Janie and arranges a special audition only to have his jealous lead female singer sabotage her audition! Janie returns to the restaurant, where the owner hates singers, and a lady cop is trying to close the place down But determination pays off, and Janie and her friends finally get their big break!
