Summary

ELDER'S STATEMENTS - Harold Beebe hot wired the nurse's car. Amanda Murphy Stole her daughter-in-law's credit cards. Together they hit the road and escaped from a nursing home. Those are only two of the characters you'll meet in this collection of three monologues and four one-act plays. There's the Bag Lady choosing clothes from a trash bag for her daughter who's going to trial. Is she bitter? You bet. But, she looks on the bright side. "Well," she sighs, "Life IS getting better. At least they have Baby Obnoxious dolls so little girls get a clue of what's lurking down the road." Of course there's a love story - Irma's love story as she recalls her husband finding her in a displaced person's camp after WWII, and a one-act play about two tough old birds, Rosie and Katherine, who refuse to let their children become their mothers. Meet all of these characters and more as they tackle problems with humor and gusto. Old age? Bring it on.
