Summary
Coach Jensen's basketball team has achieved the first winning season the school has had in years. Their celebration comes to an abrupt end, however, when three members are discovered with alcoholic beverages and are immediately suspended. Jensen faces an irate school board as they demand that he reinstate these boys for the glory of the town, as well as the trophy. He faces their assault against honesty with calm courage. A modern morality play demonstrating that truth must triumph in the end.
