The Big Sell

TOM BRANDON - he wants to get on top and he will sell, sell, sell to get there. In the beginning, he is cool and confident but grows increasingly frustrated as his presentation falters.
CHIEF EXECUTIVE - he is Tom's mentor and lives by schedules and budgets.
EXECUTIVE MAN - he is open and receptive. There is something to him besides business.
WOMAN EXECUTIVE - looks for more than slick slogans and promotions.
MARY THE MOTHER - younger than Mary Magdalene, a gentle strength and natural beauty.
MARY MAGDALENE - attractive, she is gutsy but not hard.

The Conversation

RALPH - basically a nice guy but operates too much on externals.
GOD - the concerned loving Father. He has a sense of humor that can be a bit barbed.

Being A Great Guy

JOE HARRIS - prides himself on being one of the crowd.
THE VOICE - Joe's other part.
JESUS - a distinctive face and voice. He is a bit darker and taller than the paintings we've been used to.
VOICES IN THE CROWD

Images

JOAN - she is young though she could be of any age. She is of many faces.
JOAN'S IMAGE - the inner voice of Joan's heart and mind.
JESUS - as described earlier. He is strong and warm.

The Stone Thrower

WALTER - can't see beyond his own face.
MILDRED - Walter's wife. Her good intentions are lost on him.
SANTOS - young and anxious for Walter's guidance.
MARY MAGDALENE - like Judas, she knows well the business of throwing stones.
JUDAS - he is good at making Walter uncomfortabel as he is not beyond a good tease.

The role of the Stage Manager can be played by either a male or female.
