Summary
This clever blending of scenes and olios sings the praises of the great institution of the American Car, chronicling its history throughout the ages. From horse drawn buggies to real horsepower, so many important events have happened in them in the front seat, the back seat, etc...The prom, cruising for chicks, drive-in movies, your first driving lesson, all revolve around the American Car. This ensemble piece that can be done with as large or as small a cast as desired. Longer scenes have been mixed and matched with shorter scenes. There are also four fun olios that can be used between scenes. The play has been produced with a real Model T and contemporary car on stage, and also with props and stage pieces. A fresh challenging opportunity for advanced ensemble acting.

The show is an ensemble piece and can be done with as large or as small a cast as desired. The central character, our Narrator, or perhaps our guardian angel, can be female or male. Flexible cast of 10-35.
